Interesting Treat today

Lunch today as per this menu but local roe deer which was of course 'pun' delicious as was the whole meal with well measured portions and service. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending one of our local attractions.
A 10 bedroom hotel with a great history to tell. This historic hunting lodge has featured in John Buchan’s The 39 Steps, was the boyhood home of Royal Navy submarine ace Lieutenant Commander Malcolm David Wanklyn VC, and played a pivotal role as the secret meeting place for Churchill and Eisenhower as they planned the D-Day landings.
It has its own bay overlooking the Irish Sea
with a view of the country on a clearer day.
