Garsington Studios

We visited Garsington's building site again on this sunny blustery morning.  It has been renamed from Garsington Arts Hub to Garsington Studios, but the purpose is still the same: to bring the opera rehearsals and production on site, and provide out-reach for local schools and performing groups.

I first blipped it in May 2022.  The old farmhouse at the right of this photo is the same as the old farmhouse in the middle of the older photo.

I then blipped it in October 2022 when the new building was starting to rise around the old farmhouse.

Today we walked around the two full size rehearsal studios, recording studio, practice rooms, café, etc. etc.  There is still a huge amount of finishing off to do, but what an ambitious project!
