Still no Cigar?

       Yonks ago, the "other me" made mock of a local Supermarket labelling what was effectively a Candle in a Jam-jar as  a "Hurricane Lamp".
       Now THIS is what Hurricane Lamps looked like "when Ah was a lad". This, unarguably, IS the correct shape - BUT -, while no doubt superior in lasting, and intensity of, light I'm unconvinced it deserves the title?
       Got to say I'd expect more light from a handful of LEDs than Paraffin via a Wick.
