'A Night At Home With Daddy'

Mrs RW had an interview at a school tonight for a potential job there, so it was daddy and kids night at home.

Firstly, picked up Bella from Linda's house after work and then drove around to Oscars house to pick up Dylan after his chess class. They hadn't eaten their dinner yet, so I was very kindly invited to eat with them. A very yummy minestrone soup, perfect for a cold winters night. Actually today was our coldest day for the year, with the temperature just managing to hit 12 degrees for a little while, apparently it's also been out wettest June since 2001 I think I heard the weather report say.

I asked the kids if they would like to watch a movie with me while we waited for mummy to arrive home, Dylan ended up choosing 'Cloudy, With a Chance of Meatballs' which we rented from iTunes and played through the Apple TV.

Bella has come home with an itchy rash over her tonight too, will have to keep an eye on her and check it in the morning, she seems to have gone to sleep okay.

Still showery now, and more forecast for tomorrow.
