Scorpion fly

I've seen quite a few scorpion flies recently and this one settled for a while. They have an extraordinary beak-like structure on their head. The name comes from the tail which is supposed to resemble that of a scorpion - at least in the male (this may be a female as the tail doesn't curl upwards).
