Back Home Again.

The area around our small town was once entirely made up of small family farms. As the population grew, the farms were subdivided into lots and houses built.

A neighbour down the street grew up in the earlier era and has an affinity for preserving some of it. For instance, he has a vintage John Deere seed sower in his front yard that he has repurposed into a planter. Hes has always wanted a vintage tractor. Recently, one came available. He sold his Corvette Stingray (!) and bought it.

This is a 1949 Massey Harris Pony with a grain mower. It is called a ‘Penny’ Pony because, over time, if turns from bright red to the colour of a copper penny. His plan is to place it in the middle of his small lawn. He already has the best groomed yard on the street (another win I concede), so it will be tastefully done, I am sure.
