Extra Ordinary

Daisy’s graduation

So, she wasn’t going, then she wanted to, then there was a hullabaloo, then it was all too late. Which made her a bit sad because she wanted to go. I said we should do something else. So we met at the south bank in early afternoon. Ffs it was all of a sudden very freezing (a theme over the next two days). We wandered round, spent some warming up time in Foyles then marched over Waterloo bridge to Covent Garden. Again some warning up time in the transport museum shop, a fine shop. Discovered that Toby is a great fan of London buses. A little wander round Covent Garden but so ever so busy. Went for pre theatre dinner at Picolinos, Hannah joined us after a London meeting day then we set forth to moulin rouge.

OMG, what at show!! If you haven’t been, make arrangements to see IMMEDIATELY!!! The whole thing from beginning to end was just perfect. We all enjoyed it very hugely.

Then we came out and Hannah and said goodbye to the young ones, they went back to Canterbury, we took two buses to Greenwich. For some reason I can never work out, total bus cost for us both for an hour on the buses, 20p. Don’t know why,but I’ll take it.

In the headline news, my fabulous girl has graduated from university with a first in her maths degree and we went to a marvellous show to celebrate. V happy with all of that.
