Anna's Hummingbird

The nighttime temperature dropped to 23° F (-5°C).
We have two hummingbird feeders that we put out at first light with lukewarm sugar water in them for the Hummingbird's breakfast .
I put one feeder on the porch railing as I hung up the other feeder.
The male hummingbird who "owns" the feeder on the railing was already busily refueling when I came back to hang it up.
I love to think of these birds as being descended from the dinosaur dynasty.
