A Museum Sort of Day

My main reason for coming to Boston, besides visiting my dear friends, was to see the fabulous exhibit, “Fashioned by Sargent”, which combined John Singer Sargent’s amazing portraits with some of the actual clothes worn by the sitters.  Vogue magazine called it a “must see” and it is.  We then saw an exhibit called “Tiny Treasures “, extra photo.  Also, an extra collage of the Massachusetts State House seen from my friends living room last night and this morning.  Out to dinner now and they will drive me back to Portland tomorrow on their way to their home in Maine.  Gift#326: museums, great food and greater friends.
