I am thankful for the abundant beauty in my neighbourhood.

How odd that Thanksgiving Day, a day when we are encouraged to show gratitude for all that what we have, is followed immediately by Black Friday, a day when we are encouraged to purchase tons of junk we are told we desperately need.
