Only the lonely

I really feel for him. He’s lonely and there is little I can do about it. When I started up his engine today, he said: “Where are we going? I could do with a trip.” I had to break  it to him that I’m not allowed to drive at present because of my eyes, and that I was just trying to keep his battery alive.. “Well I could steer while you work  my pedals,” was his gracious response. It's tearing my heart out. Look at him, poor thing.
