Margery Fisher an english gardener of the cottage style is frequently quoted with this sound advice.  Before the frost there were several beautiful blooms and now I wish I had paid more attention and photographed them the previous day. One of the delights of this particular variety, geranium Roxanne is that it blooms all summer long and evidently  into autumn.
