Second thoughts

That moment when the goolies hit the water... Sean was no longer sure that that sea swimming malarkey was quite as appealing as he had made it sound when trying to convince his mate Mick to join him for a quick dip. 
Mick being a practical and oddly sensible person in his old age had opted to stay in the pub to watch the footie. 
Sean now wished he too had had more sense.
