Back To Black

Let the shadows go to black in this one, almost. Liked the silhouette with diagonals. I lifted the background a touch to give a little separation behind the trunk. Shallow depth of field, picking out only some branches.

Lucky there was a break in the cloud as the sun set. High of 32°F, descending into winter.

Better on black perhaps?

Extra: Caressing. As in, the late sun caressed the tips of the reeds.
