Robin at large

Union Street

I had some last minute final Christmas shopping to do. Mission now accomplished, and no further shopping for Christmas is anticipated.

The sun came out briefly so I took a picture looking along part of the west end of Union Street. The empty building next to the church used to be a bank. Periodically the council publishes statistics on the number of empty premises along the street. When an empty shop is taken, it is usually for conversion to yet another cafe or fast food outlet.

When I saw the photo on the monitor I thought “where is the colour”. It is all so grey apart from the sky.

The blue sky was an all too brief illusion, The day has been mostly cloudy and wet.
