Urgent Repairs

They've blocked off the whole street.  No cars or buses allowed through.  Obviously it's so urgent that no-one is working on it - what's another day of inconvenience for people who live here?

Winter arrived and lots of it.  About 15cm/6 inches of snow and it hasn't stopped all day.

There was a spectacular Dachlawine (roof avalanche) as all the snow was too heavy for the pitch of the roof.  It's always a surprise to see one (and occasionally to be on the end of one).
