Carol's ramblings

Mono

Boys happily to school this morning.

Our GP surgery a while back sent details about “Our Future Health” - it’s a research programme (along the same lines as Biobank) looking for volunteers looking at helping future generations live in good health longer.  You have a questionnaire to complete and a face-to-face meet for basic details (height, weight, blood pressure) and blood test (cholesterol plus another couple of vials).  My appointment was this morning, arrived early and finished by my appointment time (9:40).

Took a detour home and went into town, still looking for those last minute little presents and needed some nibbles for our Christmas do tonight at lace group.

Home for lunch then did some more Christmas wrapping and caught up with The Crown.

Struggled with mono shot today, this one taken on my walk with Lili tonight.

Lace meeting tonight - didn't take any lace, just some knitting but ended up not doing any but just chatting - nibbles went down well.
