The Rosebush

This year I waited for ever for the rosebush in our garden to come to life. It was one long winter.

And now it is here. Not yet fully in bloom but simply magnificent. And the scent - not strong, but you can feel its light grace in the air.

It's heavily laden with succulent flowers. It's decadent.
