Clouds……..

Maisie and I were out very early this morning. I observed these lenticular clouds fairly early into our walk. The cloud cover thickened up during the day and very warm nor-west winds kept the temperature up. I had hosed my vegetable gardens and some other areas last night . Gave them a good soaking. But that barely shows today. There is a little rain predicted overnight. Fingers crossed. We are in for a long hot dry summer with lots of garden watering ahead of us.
