Ensnared

The pine trees have made a lot of cones this year.  This one was caught in the bush outside my window.  No chance of fulfilling its purpose.  One pinecone fell between two raised beds in the garden and it has sprouted a beautiful wee pine tree.  I let get a good start and this spring I will transplant it somewhere where it can grow straight and tall.  Many people are like this pinecone, ensnared in life circumstances, unable to fulfill their full potential.  I always like finding visual metaphors.  Gift#329: visual metaphors.
