Plumbing and DIY

My plumbing and DIY skills leave a lot to be desired.

When the kitchen monobloc system developed an incessant drip, I ordered two valves to replace the defective ones.
Not just a simple washer or two but a complex valve for each tap, costing a mere £49 for the pair.

Luckily a skilled builder came to do another job outside and I asked him to use his skills to do a 5 minute job that took a lot more thanks to the hard water limescale that gummed up the works and made the removal of the old valves very difficult (and caused the dripping).

Here you see the tap system with the old valves at the back and not a drip in sight.

The important bits are the valves, the other bits are included for symmetry.
