Never boring

Millie (and her sister, Emmy) might be heading towards the mid-twenties in age, and may sleep for many hours each day, but still has her playful moments. She loves to stick her head through the bannister to get a pat when one of us is walking past.

In other news, I did my first volunteer shift in the Cancer Research shop in Portobello, which was fun. I helped tidy up and go through the kids books. Looking forward to going back next week.

Off to Marzipan and ice the homemade Christmas cake. First time in doing this, so we shall soon find out if it is edible. 

Snow is being threatened over the next few days, although, being by the coast, not sure if we will get it.
