Newport across the Tay

A very bright day but cold

After lunch out we went for a walk/scooter ride along the Waterfront. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky but the downside was that it was only 3 degrees, which made sitting on the scooter uncomfortable.

Across the River Tay from Dundee is the small town of Newport. They used to be connected by Ferry but since the 1960’s the fine Road Bridge has made the journey faster. It is showing its age now and one carriageway has been closed for several months for repairs.
