Unexpected find this morning

A crisp morning dog walk and we went down the usual long path. During the better weather this path has an abundance of wildflowers, well, quite a few anyway, and you can be sure of something suitable for a blip.

I saw the stinging nettles still had their flowers and thought that might do for today, so imagine my delight when there was a bumble bee buzzing around one of them.

Although I did wonder afterwards if it was still stocking up on nectar and if it would make it through the winter?

But for now it was lively enough and looked healthy.
