Aberdeen Harbour

In Aberdeen this morning when it was bright and sunny if a little chilly (3°C).  We visited Greyhope Bay south of the main harbour and is the best place in the area to catch a sight of dolphins, sadly none were on show on this occasion.

There were plenty of other sights that caught my eye.  The Sea Haven (pilot boat) was leaving the harbour in order to guide in a tanker waiting out in the bay.  Soon afterwards the Kittiwake headed out to sea.  Both had to contend with rolling waves immediately after leaving the safe haven of the harbour.

It was good to see some different sights and to enjoy a walk which wasn’t interrupted by heavy showers of rain!
