Sparkling

Woke early and read the papers and did some word games then fell back to sleep til nearly 9! Went over to meet VW and we had a fabulous morning walking the full length of Porty beach and having bacon rolls and coffee sitting on the beach wall in the sun….gorgeous! We talked non stop as usual, about tinnitus, pre-teens’ adventures, garden centres, house moves, Tina Turner, statins, Borneo, kids and grandkids.
Dropped her at home then nipped to the bank to sort the power of attorney things then came back and spent a relaxing afternoon polishing brass and silver! Trying to sort all the cutlery and other silver bits I’d brought back, deciding what to keep and cleaning it all up. Great for mindfulness!
Leftovers for supper then watched BakeOff final (result as I’d predicted!). Been a very relaxing day….!
