Two new friends from the Newcomers’ Group came for coffee this morning, which was enjoyable.

The plasterer was also expected but he sent me a text saying he had a tummy bug and would come tomorrow.  Fingers crossed he actually does turn up.

This afternoon a chap came to talk to us about a volunteer activity we’re considering taking part in.

After supper we went for a walk to the Oamaru Public Gardens.  It’s always peaceful there in the early evening and we enjoyed looking at all the beautiful flowers.

The fuchsia is in the front garden to the left of the path.  It’s starting to flower beautifully.
