Granton Gas Holder

The old gas holder at Granton is being renovated to form part of some sort of community hub or venue.  In it's operational days I'm certain any repairs or maintenance would have been done but someone with a bucket of paint, a head for heights, and maybe if they were lucky a rope.

Now of course these works require full scaffolding and a plastic wrap, so it looks a lot less elegant than usual.


I'll be interested to see it once it is done.
