Wanted to show a friend the mechanism on these vintage earrings. They have metal spacers that squash down.

Likely 1950s 1960s glass with an aurora borealis coating. These beautiful earrings shine a whole rainbow of colours.

My plan is to refurbish them using solid silver hooks so that I can wear them at a friend’s birthday party next next weekend.
