A Photo Doesn't do it Justice

Today I met with my small group of women for a deep discussion about "wiping the slate clean" and embracing "silence and suffering". 

This photo of the view from my friend's kitchen does not give a good representation of the beauty of the countryside, coast range, and layers of mist. Changing it to Mono took something away, but perhaps added contrast in the shades of gray. The Wide Angle view is spectacular and I can only give a small taste of it in a photo. I felt the vastness and intimateness of nature today. It is a profound feeling.
