The Scarce Chaser

Very much a southern species found mainly in East Anglia and the West Country this is a real stunner to see. The fiery ginger colouration glows in the sunlight. I had to eaze my way through chest high nettles whilst being eaten alive my mosquitoes to get this shot, but it was worth it! Other pics are here...
