Oxcombe.

Had a shock this morning. I drove on the Blue Stone Heath Rd to Oxcombe and looked down the lane to my pottery class and decided it was far too icy, so reversed onto the verge. I'd just stopped the engine when a bin lorry, like a bat out of hell, slid across the road and plunged into the opposite side breaking trees. It was so lucky that a tree stopped it plunging down a steep valley. The men were OK and phoning for help so I walked gingerly down a slippery path to my pottery class!
