Concorde

This is British Airways Concorde G-BOAA now based at the Museum of Flight in East Fortune.

I think it's weird to think that in all aspects of technology we have moved forward in leaps and bounds over the past 40 years. However in aviation, in some ways, we have regressed.

Concorde could get you from London to New York in 3 1/2 hours in the late 1970's - the same flight now takes between seven and eight hours!

Progress? I wonder.
