Plan B

Plan A was to go to the Crosthwaite village Xmas fair  in the morning and take curry round to friends A&G in the evening to celebrate their birthdays. 
Plan B is  to stay put because non stop snow all day has led to dangerous roads and Mr P doubted his car would get up the drive.  We went in the garden to make sure the birds had food.  Managed to make soup and mincemeat before the power went off. I'm quickly tethering off my phone to load this Blip of this afternoon's view. Then we'll put on the wood burner and read books with our head torches.  Looks like lukewarm soup with cheese and bread and fruit for tea.
