The snow has arrived .....

...... and this morning was just like a winter wonderland. After a day's traffic the main roads are now clear but there is still a good covering in the gardens.

I do like snow, the squeaky kind that's great for sledging and building snow men ..... powdery stuffis no use for having fun.
Looks like it's still going to be cold tomorrow but no further snow is forecast.

I filled up the bird feeders but it was a bit too cold for the usual flocks of Goldfinches and Sparrows to put in an appearance.
