Wintering

I’m still captivated by the icy colours in the garden. This one is a Nandina, or heavenly bamboo. It’s an evergreen that isn’t very green, changing colour all year. It’s amazing in winter.
My grandpup Albi is staying for the weekend. We had a very chilly walk up to the river today (-1.5C was the mildest point). He had a good look over the church wall at the murky river. Not done much since. Oh, except I dropped a whole bottle of olive oil on the stone floor in the kitchen. Luckily Albi sat and watched me clean it all up from a safe distance. But what a mess!
