Clouds over G.R.

The sculpture is "La Grande Vitesse" by Alexander Calder. It's a West Michigan icon and sits in the heart of Grand Rapids. I've been wanting to blip this beauty for some time.

Unfortunately I'm in W. Michigan for a funeral, but on my way through G.R. tonight I decided to stop downtown to take some pictures. As I was driving I kept noticing the dramatic clouds off to the North and East. There were some beauties in my rear view mirror, most of the drive. Once I parked and started walking toward Calder Plaza I saw the big front cloud forming. In the half hour I spent wandering and taking pics the sky really went though some big changes. It was tough choosing a blip.
