Beauty is all around us.

The First Sunday of Advent.

This photo shows our first Christmas card from Paul's cousin Cath, an image of Jesus as the Divine Mercy and Mother Mary as Our Lady of All Nations. The candle is an LED one, Candle of Hope, from www.thepietystall.co.uk. I love real candles but they are not safe with two lively cats running around.
On the theme of hope, what would a wild bird hope for on a cold Winter day.... seed and fat balls.
A cat? Well probably loving kindness, cat food and warmth.
What does God hope for? Well, I would not dare attempt to answer that. The fact He sent His dear Son Jesus suggests God hopes we repent, have contrite hearts and return to Christ with wholeheartedness , realising we are saved and redeemed.
What are you hoping for? Feel free to share.
It is 1c and I am so grateful to be in our warm living room watching the final of Chorister of the Year.
I am glad Belinda won the Junior final. Natalie was the Senior winner. Both have gifted voices.
Since the weather is much colder, we got out our sandwich toaster. I like slices of cheese, red onions, Vegan flakes and slices of black olive. It is delicious but gets very hot, so I wait for it to cool a little.
I watched The Snowman and The Snowman and the Snowdog. Now, The Golden Child, made in 1986.
Well, have a lovely Sunday, keep warm and thanks for dropping by blip friends.
