Ostkreuz

This morning I was ahead of schedule on my journey to the airport so I sopped for a wander around the area of Ostkreuz station. A feature that I'd spotted yesterday is this c1910 water tower, a relic of the past beside a large, modern station. In learning about that, I discovered that it's a "kreuz" because it's where the main railway crosses the city railway "ring" around Berlin. Ditto Westkreuz, in the west. After that, my journey was uneventful, and Django was pleased to see me when I got in at about 16:30.

Now to catch up with photo editing, washing, and expenses.
