Bournemouth Pier

Many thanks for all the kind comments and favourites on my blip milestone yesterday. I will do my best to thank you all individually but we’re now away for a few days in Bournemouth to celebrate Tess’s birthday tomorrow.

We arrived at our hotel mid afternoon, in time for a walk along a very breezy promenade and to catch the sun make a very fleeting appearance through the clouds above the pier.

We got back to the hotel in time to watch Yeovil’s televised FA Cup match away at Wrexham (aka Hollywood). We put up a brave performance against a team two leagues above us and never looked outclassed but they took their chances well and we didn’t!

Before we left this morning Chris, Kate and Sophie called in with birthday pressies for Tess. The extra shows Sophie with the card she made for Grandma.

She had a dance show rehearsal this morning and we had a very excited phone call from her later to tell us she’s got a speaking part in the show - a whole line! Well, Judi Dench had to start somewhere.
