Oil Drilling in AONB

This snowman joined in our Sit4Climate event today which focused on protesting of the government deciding to override Lincolnshire County Councils decision and allow drilling for new oil and gas in the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural beauty.

e - (this one taken be me). I set up a display of some our group kit (matts, cushions etc) on the main road by the castle, whilst waiting for a friends car to arrive.

Minster - Advent Procession service
An added touch of magic starting in darkness, with the congregation holding lit candles for the rest of the service. Heavenly choir singing illuminated initially standing at the far end (East) of the cathedral. They subsequently moved nearer ( to the front of the nave), then behind us (West end) then in the cross shape formation in the crossing opposite the main entrance, right by my seat. Thankfully I managed not to cough with the incense bearer standing right by me for a few minutes!

The Bishop of Southwell & Nottingham was part of the service, so we got a mitre this week!
