A Grand View

A complete change to yesterday's weather! My other half decided to walk up Skiddaw while I had a a quiet photography day.

I didn't want to drive so opted for a wander around the edge of Derwentwater. I got as far as Otterbield Bay and this was the view... I'd never actually photographed the hills from here before. What a superb view!

On my return trip I stopped off at the Lingholm Kitchen for coffee and cake. Perfect!

We had a quiet night in the apartment tonight as we were both quite tired from our respective efforts today.
