This is a cruffin

Bought  this in Cornwall. A cruffin is a hybrid of a croissant and a muffiin. It is croissant dough in the shape of a muffin, rolled in sugar and filled with jam and sugar.
The first known Cruffin to be created was by Kate Reid of Lune Croissanterie in Melbourne in 2013. The Cruffin was later popularized and trademarked by Mr. Holmes Bakehouse, from San Francisco.
