Jazz Class

I got to watch Ellie's jazz class. She just wants to have fun and she does the best she can but she is not as limber as some of the other girls or as serious about dance as they are....yes, most are younger than Ellie...but she is okay with that.

Today was my day to volunteer in Ellie's classroom. I love helping with the children...they are so sweet and sometimes so emotional at this age. Most are just what you would hope a 5 or 6-year-old child would be... love to learn and play nicely with classmates...but a few are disruptive and refuse to do what is happening at the moment. I don't know how Ellie's teacher manages alone with 23 little individuals.
