Onwards and upwards....

3264. The Cutest Boy!

My friend decided not to bring RiRa to the coffee shop for our breakfast meet up as he never behaves for her and she thought he might get a bit unruly!  He is a bit of a toddler but weighs in as a grown man so not easy to handle, especially for my friend who weighs nothing!

We had our coffee then did a bit of shopping and then met RiRa and her partner at the North Inch.  He wasn’t too keen on the hat initially as it covers his ears but he soon got used to it and just ignored it after a while, until he realised he could get hold of the Pom Pom and chew it!

I then met up with my youngest for lunch and we popped back into Primark to get him a Christmas jumper as apparently he needs one for work for tomorrow…not an essential I thought so I just bought him one!

My friend and her partner carried on into the centre of town with RiRa and he just about stopped traffic, everyone thought he was just so cute in his hat!  The Bean Shop in town stopped them and asked if they could take his photo for their doggie advent calendar on Instagram!  Apparently he got lots of cuddles and fusses so he was one happy doggie!

Back home now and relaxing having a cuppa after a busy morning.

We had a very interesting experience with our local Royal Mail delivery office yesterday.  Hubby had a special delivery by 1pm for some currency he’d ordered and by 12:30 the tracking was still saying it was in Edinburgh at that time so we just assumed it wasn’t going to come.  It costs £15 for special delivery so he wasn’t happy.  He phoned the number another postie gave us for the manager in Perth and complained about the fact that it clearly wasn’t going to arrive (and it’s a guaranteed service).  The manager said he’d look for it and try and get someone to deliver it later so we just left to go out for lunch.  We bumped into our postie (pity we don’t get him all the time as he’s lovely) and mentioned that we weren’t getting our special delivery and he apologised but it hadn’t arrived by the time he left the delivery office.  So we wandered off to lunch and whilst we were eating our lunch the front door camera alerted us to the postie at our door with the currency.  We totally weren’t expecting it but as it was 12:45 they’d met the target and we weren’t in!  Whilst we were walking back from the pub we bumped into the postie again and he stopped us and told us that his manager had been at our door trying to deliver the currency and that he had it and would pop up with it!  Talk about going above and beyond!  needless to say they got an excellent review on the app as that was exceptional.
