On the Dam Wall

As we drove past the small Vinhas dam, I spotted a white egret sitting on the wall, so Mike turned round, but of course, it had gone. On the way back, I got out and walked along the bridge, and eventually one posed there, but struggling with over exposure and a faulty zoom, you can barely see it; still, it is there, plus a couple of mates on the upper lake. Also saw a heron, and quite a few cormorants.

Gratefuls:
- prayer walking and delicious hamburgers at Morango Bar
- getting sawdust for our composting toilet at the furniture place in Reguengos, plus plasterboard for the North Wing, and croissants for Sunday
- lovely chats with my sister in Texas and our boy in Erdington
