Car Wash

I finally took our car today to our favourite hand car wash in a nearby town, after the ravages of the muddy 1km drive from the road to the Bath House where we stayed last week.

The proprietors have developed the business somewhat since we first came here in July 2016: the most recent addition is a wooden gazebo where customers can wait while their cars are being cleaned. What you see here is the view from inside the gazebo of our car getting the 'inside' treatment - cleaning and valeting - that followed the 'outside' treatment with shampoo and jet washes over to the right.

Given today's weather, and the condition of the roads around here, it was inevitable that the car would lose some of its exterior cleanliness by the time I got home. But it's nice to have the inside fresh and clean though.
