Special Christmas stained glass window.

My father died 30 years ago today. He gave me this Christmas decoration in the 1970s; it’s special to me, the more so on this notable anniversary.

A small tea light or votive in the candle holder behind the stained glass window provides a gentle illumination.

This morning.
Outside Christmas lights up.
Cold, but dry.

This afternoon.
Hospital appointment.
AAA scan.
Arrived. Parked, free.
Walk in, check-in at reception.
Waited a minute.
Scanned. Two very good radiographers.
Got results. “Normal.”
Out, and to car.
17 minutes in total.

Got last week’s blood test results back from clinic. “Normal.” My annual MOT.

Thank you NHS Scotland. Again.
