Classic Venice

Venice was all that I hoped it might be. Although desperately crowded, the sights and sounds were superb. Water and boats everywhere - paradise.
People were having gondola rides all over the place, there were traffic jams of them. Lovely squares, little alleys and always water - plus superb pizza! What a great day.
