Abstract Thursday

In more than one aspect.

We took the escalator down to the normal commuter train platform tracks 1 and 2.  First message: "Change of track for trains to B, U... to tracks 3 and 4". OK, that's not far away. A few minutes later: "All commuter trains will depart from tracks 15 and 16."  Tracks 15 and 16 are at another station, maybe 500 metres away.

These two messages kept repeating for the next half hour.  Eventually a staff member appeared and apologised for the confusing messages and confirmed we had to go to tracks 15 and 16.

Track 15/16: The first message we could read: "Train arrivning in 12 minutes".  Then "8 minutes", "waiting for info", "Cancelled", "5 minutes".

A thought crossed my mind: "I wonder if Stockholm Local Traffic has consulted Jaques Tati?".  Of course not, but he might be sitting on his cloud smiling.
